If you are new here and want to review my clinical approach first, you can explore my services on the main page.
Sliding Scale & Equitable Access:
I reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spots ($125.00–$135.00 for individual therapy; $145.00–$160.00 for couples/family) for self-pay clients experiencing financial hardship, using the Green Bottle self-assessment model. We can discuss current slot availability during your free initial consultation.
In-Network Insurance Coverage
I accept the following insurance plans in California:
Blue Shield of California
Optum
United Health Care
How Insurance Works: Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles depend on your plan. Before we meet, I will check your coverage details through the private client portal.
Out-of-Network Therapy & Superbills
If you have a PPO insurance plan that isn’t listed above, you might still get full or partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
Superbills Provided: If you ask, I can give you a monthly itemized receipt (a "Superbill") to send to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Checking Your Coverage: To find out what your plan covers, call the member services number on your insurance card and ask, "Does my plan reimburse for out-of-network telehealth mental health services (CPT code 90837)?"
Good Faith Estimates & Financial Policies
Good Faith Estimate
If you are self-pay or uninsured, you have the right to get a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before starting care, as required by the No Surprises Act. Learn more at www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Late Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or reschedule a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, there is a $25 fee.
Attendance & Consistency
Making progress in therapy works best with regular sessions. If there are three late cancellations or no-shows in three months, I will need to offer your weekly time slot to someone on the waiting list and close your file. You can always reach out again when your schedule allows.
